4/16/08 Newsletter Big Game this Saturday, 4/19 - Corning East The Varsity Braves (6-0) will be welcoming to town the Corning East Trojans this Saturday, 10am , at historic Evans Field. The Trojans are currently 5-0 and are ranked 31 in the nation by Laxpower, Canandaigua is currently ranked 37 by the same poll. This will be a high school lacrosse classic rematch from last year when the Braves traveled to Corning and were ahead until late in the 3rd quarter when the Trojans finally took the lead and pulled away in the 4th. It looks to be a beautiful day for lacrosse and the Booster Club concession stand will be in full swing with Breakfast Pizza's from Shell's to start out the day and lunch food available after that. Come on out and support our team. Concession Stand cooker needed The Booster Club needs a grill operator to cook hot dogs & hamburgers at this Saturday;s game (4/19). Canandaigua Youth Lacrosse Game Schedules The game schedules for Canandaigua Youth Lacrosse are available online at www.RALL.org. Directions to all away games are available on the site also. The Booster Club is seeking an individual that would be interested in helping running a camera for game films. This year would be a training/backup year, but next year could turn into a regular responsibility. If you are interested in helping out, contact Dan Knapton. Reminder - Used Cleats and equipment collection Reminder - we will be collecting used lacrosse equipment and youth sized cleats at all home games. This is for the inner city Rochester lacrosse program that is starting up this year. Just drop off your used equipment at the concession stand. Please remember to collect your un-needed cleats and lacrosse equipment & bring it to the next home game.
