Booster Club Meeting - 12/3/08

The Canandaigua Lacrosse Booster Club will be holding a general meeting on Wednesday, 7pm in room 116 at the Academy.  We will be going through the upcoming year's fundraisers and begin to organize them.  If you have any questions contact Dan Knapton.  If you are wondering if what you do can make a difference I will say to read the below "Where did we end up?" and know that every person that gives any amount of their time to help this program can take pride in their contribution to the accomplishment of last year's team.  This year looks to be another exciting and successful year as Canandaigua reloads.

Holiday Sale - 12/6/08

Canandaigua Lacrosse will be holding their annual holiday apparel sale this Saturday, 12/6 from 9am to 1pm at the Moose Lodge.  We are fully stocked with Canandaigua Lacrosse apparel so come on out and start/finish your Christmas shopping this Saturday.

Where did we end up?

In the final polls and power rankings Canandaigua Lacrosse faired very well nationally and ranked their highest in the program's history (although many of these national polls have not been around as long as Canandaigua Lacrosse).  Starting with the online authority of lacrosse for high school and above, Laxpower ranked Canandaigua in the combined Coaches poll / Computer power rankings at #18 in the country (of  2,872 teams), #12 in NY State, #6 in Class in NY, and #1 in Section V. The NY State Sportswriters ranked Canandaigua #6 in the state in Class A.  Inside Lacrosse magazine's poll with STX put Canandaigua at #20 in the country although this poll should have a huge "*" next to it for choosing a team from Michigan as their #1 team.
