The Canandaigua Lacrosse Varsity Braves (9-2) will take on the Fairport Red Raiders (9-1) tomorrow, Tuesday, 5/5, at 7pm at Exhibition Field at Canandaigua Academy. This will be the Section V showdown of the regular season as the top team in Class A will take on the top team in Class B. Both teams are looking to fine tune their game going into the second half of the season and sectionals. To top it off, the Canandaigua Lacrosse Booster Club is proclaiming tomorrow "The Shirt" Day. "The Shirt" will be for sale at the concession stand at the game. Everyone that wears "The Shirt" or buys "The Shirt" will be entered into a drawing for a Canandaigua Lacrosse sweatshirt. Canandaigua Lacrosse will donate $5 from every sale of "The Shirt" to the Golisano's Children's Hospital. Stop by the concession stand and register with Pam Helming. 5th Annual Redneck Games huge success The 5th annual Redneck Games held yesterday were a huge success. The Defense came from behind to pull out the team victory and Tom LaCrosse was crowned this year's Ultimate Redneck. Check the website for a complete history of the Redneck Games and some pictures. Canandaigua Invitational Lacrosse Tournament getting organized The 10th Annual Canandaigua Invitational Lacrosse Tournament is getting organized. Teams are registering and volunteers are meeting. This is by far our biggest fundraiser and everyone involved inthe pprogram from grades K-12 needs to pitch in to make it a success.
