JV wrap up season undefeated....again!

The Canandaigua Boys JV team finished their season 17-0! This the second undefeated season for this year's sophomores and the 3rd year in a row that the JV team has gone undefeated making Coach York's lifetime JV head coaching record an incredible 72 wins against 1 heart-breaking loss! Coach York, sitting on a dock at a remote lake somewhere, could not be reached for comment at press time but I'm sure his comment would have contained the lines "...incredible assistant Coach Mike Rice and leadership from Coach Mulheron.....learned everything I know from Coach Lauren York....hard-working, dedicated players over the years.....world-class Booster Club support...". Congratulations Coach York and Coach Rice and the entire JV team!

Varsity begins quest for Sectional Crown plus Senior Night

This Thursday night, 5/28, at 7pm the Varsity Boys begin their sectional crown defense (2008 Class A champion) and offense (look out Class B) when they take on the Eastridge Lancers at the Academy on Exhibition Field. The evening will be kicked off at 6:30 when we honor this year's 14 seniors. This will be the team's last home game, however the rest of the sectional tournament will be just up the road at St John Fisher (Tuesday, 6/2 for the semi-finals, and Friday 6/5 for the finals). After ripping it up last Saturday against Fairport Coach Mulheron has the team fine-tuned and ready to make a Section V Championship run. Canandaigua Girls Lacrosse begin their Sectional Title Run

The Canandaigua Girls Lacrosse team has begun their campaign for their first sectional title. The team beat Eastridge last night 23-4 in the opening round and will take on Webster Thomas at 7pm on Friday at East Rochester. Good Luck to our sisters as both teams hope to make it to the championship table.
