Kindergarten Program

The Canandaigua Lacrosse Program is offering an opportunity to introduce young boys to the game of lacrosse. We will teach them the basics of lacrosse such as cradling, scooping, passing, catching and shooting in a fun environment. These sessions are open to new players as well as those with experience.  We want every laxer here!  This is a great opportunity for our varsity teams to give back and share the core values of CA lacrosse: sportsmanship, hard work and respect for the game.

Lacrosse is a sport rich with tradition in our community and we want to share this amazing, rewarding sport with our “little laxers”!

• Cost $140
• Age: Boys Kindergarten
• Location: Canandaigua Academy Field House, "The Box" 
• Dates/Times: 
  • March 16th - Kick Off - 9:00-11:00AM Academy Main Gym
  • Session Dates - Little Laxer Dates (March 10, 14, & 24) and then transition to box and field (See schedule link below for full dates/times).
• All participants will receive a custom CA Lacrosse hat.
• Due to availability, a small quantity of sticks are available for sale if participant does not have one from prior year(s). There will also be a few that can be used and returned after practice.
• Includes 3, 1-hour indoor sessions at Academy Field House as part of the Little Laxer sessions (no equipment needed, except stick), then they will transition to the box and field with full equipment. 
• Includes High Quality Game Uniform, Shooting Shirt, Practice Pinny,  Program T-Shirt, Trucker Hat
• Town Travel League, Canandaigua K-2 Tournament
• Practices, Equipment, & Insurance
• Additional Tournament Registrations TBD (Additional Fees Required)
